To Nap or Not To Nap

That is the question.aah! this feels SO good!

It is so quiet here in my house; the only sound I hear is the air conditioner running.

The girls are asleep.

I have work to do. Laundry to be folded, another load to be dried. I need to pack up the winter clothes and put them in the garage. I need to mop the floor. Badly.

But it’s oh-so-quiet and peaceful in the house right now.

(sigh.) And I’m tired.

That trip to the park really did me in.

Would it really be so bad if I grabbed a quick nap? The winter clothes have waited this long. Surely another day wouldn’t hurt, right?

Maybe if I just close my eyes for a FEW minutes…

  1. That picture is scary.

  2. Grab that nap, reach out and take it by the short and curlies. You will be ministering to each and every female reader if you do.

  3. scawey sloth

  4. Definantly nap!!!

  5. You do not deserve a break!! =)

  6. I think we (mostly women) tend to ignore the bodily signs that God gives us–two in particular. Those of hunger and tiredness. When we get those hunger pangs, we should eat (and, my problem, if we don’t have them–you’re not hungry–don’t eat!) Same with tiredness. If you feel tired, it’s time for a nap. No guilt involved-just do it! God told you to, and so do I!
(BTW, sound of the air conditioner, putting away winter clothes???!!! Way to rub it in with your Northern friends!) (jealous grin)
