The Catbird Seat

For those of you wondering, I’ve been away on vacation for the past 2 days in Apalachicola, Florida with my sister. No internet connection in the house there, I’m afraid.

I’ve temporarily removed my last post, because (a) I thought you all might be tired of seeing it and (b) I didn’t want to seem really disgruntled with our friends at Diamond Teak. Irritated, but not completely put out. I’d like to think I’m a forgiving and gracious person (although, I admit, at times I’m not!); I don’t think keeping a rant on the front page of my site for 3 days is really representative of forgiveness or grace, so I’ll give it a rest.

Oh, and thanks to everyone for the many hilarious comments on the “Peeing…” post. Y’all made my week!

Please keep an eye out for the next “Chair of the Week” which will be appearing sometime tomorrow (Sunday, March 26th). We’re gonna try another piece from the “Spirit Song” line, and see if we get better results this time. Thanks again to Robert and Barbara Tiffany for permission to use the image. (and for the really funny emails!) I’d like for everyone at Diamond Teak and Tiffany & Tiffany to get a chance to strut their design stuff.

Let’s just say I’m all about 2nd chances. I’ve gotten too many of them over the years NOT to give a few myself.

For those of you who know us personally, it’d be great if y’all commented on Paul’s blog (http://blog.likeafire.net)) and let him know what a great Daddy he is for taking care of Elizabeth while I flitted around with my sister and her kids for almost 3 days. He really is a loving father and husband, don’t y’all think?
