How do you remember what “incarnation” means?
Well, according to Mark Bates, our pastor at UPC, it goes something like this…
It’s very easy to remember what “incarnation” means, theologically.

I can make such a butt of myself sometimes.
Really.
(insert heavy sarcasm here) I know that’s a real shock for some of you.
For my sake, just try to look surprised, okay? Sheesh.
Like tonight.
We were with some of our very best friends, playing a relatively unfamiliar game (to all of us) called “Carcassonne.”

Last night, on the way home from our date (thanks Beau and Jennifer for the freebie babysitting!), Paul told me about an amazing thing that happened the other day.

I keep meanin’ to, and it keeps not happenin’.
I guess I’m slipping…
Keep an eye out the next couple of days for a new chair. I’ve already picked it, and it’s very interesting. I just need to do the write-up and rip […]

This iteration is “6 Weird Things About Yourself”
Believe it or not, I had a hard time coming up with them.

It’s a question that gets asked a lot around here.
To me, by me.
Yesterday I talked to another SAHM who feels confounded by that same question every morning.

You would think that question would go […]

I’m struggling how to start this post. I’ve decided I’m just gonna put it out there.
I want to be famous.
Yeah, I know. So cliche. So corny. So embarrassing.
But it’s true.
Why am I blogging about this?
Well, for some reason my heart is revisiting this issue, so my blog must as well. It did last time, too. […]
