In Other News…
I haven’t decided on the winner of the “Write the Caption” contest yet, so if you come up with something really funny for a caption, there’s still time.
I’ve added a new photo of me on my “The Catbird” page. It was high time. Hopefully it’s a good likeness; at the very least it accurately shows my spiky hair.
As an aside, leave it to a teenager to completely sum up my biggest spiritual struggle in life: God is in charge, not me. Take 2 minutes and read Ryan Delk’s insightful blog about rainy days and not being in charge.
And, I would be remiss if I didn’t let all of you know that one of my favorite people is now blogging. (’bout time, Amy!) Amy Hersman, of Kenyan Inside, is funny and crazy and smart and honest and….well, you get the drift. Stop by her blog for a good laugh, but be warned: her spelling is as unpredictable as she is!
That’s all for now. Hopefully we’ll have a caption-writing winner later today!
I LOVE your hair! It does, however, make me wonder what it is that you can’t control right now! (^_~)
I didn’t submit an entry for the caption contest, I’m not feeling especially creative right now. But I will say that I love Kim’s caption (book review) for photo A and Dana’s caption (insert foot) for photo B!
Thanks Cathy! At least 2 people think I’m funny - you and me.
I’ll have you know, I fixed the spelling in my blog, thank you very much! And I now write everything in Word then cut and paste after a good, old fashioned spell check. I can’t help it I’m spelling challegened. I think it’s genetic. At least that’s my excuse for now.
Cathy - I checked out Amy’s blog and I liked it! I’ll be back. We will eagerly await your winner list for the caption contest. That is such a cute idea. And I LOVE your picture and your hair! I really like having short hair - it is so much easier to take care of.
