Yeah, buddy.
How is it that plain Gatorade can go in one end as about 12 ounces and come out the other end at three times the volume (and I’m talking quantity here, folks, not noise.) and double the temperature.
Ewwww. I just grossed myself out!
Welcome to the world of giardia! It stinks here. (literally.)
(sigh.) I just can’t get a break.
On a slightly more positive note, click here to check out or purchase the “Giardia” plush doll shown above. Or select “The Common Cold“, “Ebola” or “Bookworm” for that hard-to-buy-for individual, instead. As far as I’m concerned, you never can have too many “Dust Mites” lying around the house!

Wow! One more thing we have in common! I’ve had the dreaded G word twice and all my kids have had it when they were toddlers. I feel your pain-literally! Take ALL the medicine-that way you will avoid the twice part!
Sorry, girl, I had it once in high school and it STUNK (literally.) Glad to know what it is at least!!!
Gosh, who knew those microbes could be so cute? At least in their stuffed and furry forms. But really, who buys those?? Did you see the flesh eater with its fork and knife?–too funny.
Hope you’re feeling better soon!
poor baby. . .and you thought throwing up all night was the pits!! hope you are starting to feel better soon. . .
Oh Cathy - I am so sorry!!!! I was thinking about you last night. Hopefully you’ll be feeling better soon!
Wow! I am so sorry! But I love the microbes!
Poor Cathy! I’m so sorry.
By the way, the stuffed microbes, too funny! Bad breath is my personal favorite.
Oh ya, my dad got that stuff after drinking out of a stream while hiking.
SERIOUSLY bad news. Hope you feel better soon.
[…] So, I was right. It’s the parasitic protozoa, Giardia, that’s been causing all my intestinal problems. […]
