Time Warp
What’s the difference between 6:30am and 7:00am?
30 minutes?
Nope. At least not to me.
The difference between 6:30 and 7 is…
…the equivalent of 2 hours of sleep
…the time Elizabeth woke up today and the time she should wake up
…one irritated mama.
I think when God made children, he should have hard-wired them to wake up only after 7:00am. (in their respective time zones, of course!)
Those are my thoughts in this 6 o’clock hour.
And now that it’s 6:54am, and I am fully awake but still sleepy, and now haven’t heard a peep from Elizabeth’s room (sure to change as soon as my head hits the pillow), I’m going back to bed.

Sorry - I feel your pain. I’ve been so happy lately cause Meredith’s 6:15am wakening has turned into 6:45 - it’s been great!!
The good news is, in 15 years, there’s no way you’ll get her out of bed at 6:30 am!
I wholeheartedly agree with that hardwiring bit!
