A New Photo
I’ve added a new photo of the girls to “The Girls” page.
It seems that the only time I can get them both side-by-side is when they are harnessed in the double stroller.
I think the picture is hilarious.
Here are a few thoughts:
Elizabeth looks like she’s about to get in a street fight. (I can just hear her saying “Oh yeah! Well your momma…”)
or maybe not street-fighting, but something that would require her to quick-draw her weapon from the holster, hence the “left-hand-at-the-ready” position…
…in her pj’s.
She also looks like she has a uni-brow…
…above her sleepy eyes.
Jane has that great salty-dog smirk going on…
…in her pj’s.
She looks like she’s trying to say, “Would you just take the picture already?”
or, “I’m trying to eat my cereal here.”…
…with her sleepy eyes.
Together they make a great breakfast: OJ and Frosted Flakes.
I adore them both…
…especially in their pj’s.

So well composed! So symmetrical! (opposite hands on the buckle and cup/cereal, short/tall, dark child/light child) So true to their personalities! So real-life! So eat-them-up adorable! You should submit this to a photo contest…it’s got it all. (And I mean this as both their aunt AND a magazine editor.)
I’m with Julie on this. What a fabulous picture! The girls look a lot alike here, I think. Much more alike than they usually do, at least.
