argh!
So I wrote three-quarters of a post that I titled “High Quality H2O” about the water here in Birmingham this morning. I didn’t finish it due to time limitations, so I saved it as a “Draft” with the intention of completing it later today.
Except when I sat down to complete it, “it” isn’t here.
My 3 brain cells, the Walgreens interview I had this morning, and the 800 other things I need to do must’ve collided in such a way that I didn’t save the post as I thought I had.
ARGH!
So here’s the gist of the post:
The water here is REALLY good.
It’s cold. (So cold, in fact, that I have to turn on the hot tap just to wash my hands.)
It’s clear. (No floaties or weird deposits of some kind.)
It tastes great. (Unlike the disgusting water in Florida. Sorry, Florida-lovers and natives!)
I shouldn’t be surprised.
We live right on the edge of Red Mountain, so my tap water is actually mountain water, I guess.
I can get a glass of high quality H2O right out of the tap with no ice, no filter, and no $$$ spent on gallons of water from the store.
Gotta love that.
Not “Saving as Draft” on the other hand…well, for that, I can only say, “Argh!”

hey! are you going to try out the red mountain church? Steve Malone is great. Good music too I hear. Just a plug. Miss you guys.
Yep, definitely not Florida.
Welcome to Birmingham! I have your blog marked as for update alerts.
As a nearly-native Floridian, I have to say that I consider it a boon not to be burdened by your overly discerning tastebuds!
