Instead of Blogging and Emailing…

forget-me-not…I’ve been creating art.

Specifically, I’ve been busy making 3D flowers out of one 5X5 sheet of 2D cardstock paper.

I’m enjoying myself immensely despite the PILE of unpacked boxes, financial worries, job interviews and sick daughters—which is obviously saying a lot.

And my darling sister and wonderful husband have been my biggest cheerleaders. (LOVE them!)

So much so, that I’ve now been commissioned for a job.

An art job.

I know. It’s crazy.

I don’t know enough to share the details, yet, but when I have a finished product, I’ll post a photo or two.

In the meantime, my blogging might lag, and my emailing is woefully behind.

So, in the name of friendship and love, the above forget-me-nots are for Amanda, Amy, Anna, Christy, Constance, Jill, Kelly, Nancy, Pam, Patricia, Stefanie, Rinnie, and Ruthie, who must be wondering if I’ve fallen off the face of the Earth (I haven’t) or if I’ve just forgotten the wonderful friendship we’ve shared (I haven’t).

I think of each of you every day (I’m not joking), and miss you all terribly.

And when I can figure out how to openly feel so intensely and grieve so deeply over our temporary separation, I’ll be emailing and calling once again.

For now, I just pour it all out into art.

My only hope is that Beauty will rise from the ashes.

I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
