Paul on themes
OK, this is Paul and I heard you all loud and clear. I hope this new theme is good enough for all you people who actually look at themes instead of reading them from an aggregator.
Seriously, please tell me what you think of he new look. I am probably going to be making this my business for a while.

Any way that you can put all the chair weeks in the “chair of the week” under that catagory, instead of all listed out as seperate pages?
Also, maybe a button or something near the top for Lillybeth so that it stands out more so people will go to it more (do you hear Erik in my suggestions - we’ve been married too long!!!)
Looks good, though.
I like it. It’s very sleek. I especially like being able to see all the most recent posts.
Miss you!!!!
Ahhh…I am a happy girl. The blog roll is back and I spent some time this afternoon getting caught up on everyone’s blog.
I agree the lillybeth needs to be way more prominent-and something added that lets new readers know it’s cathy’s art. I like being able to see the posts too!
Man, I was reading that first comment thinking that someone thought exactly like I did…
So yeah, definitely a button or something to refer to the business (I like how Coda does his).
I like what Rinnie said about the “chair of the week” thing. Maybe pick 5-10 and have them as rotating headers.
Contrast, or color… Not sure which. There’s a lot of whitespace beneath the fold, which is good, but maybe a little color in the link fonts, or in the header or title fonts?
Here’s another cool button example - much more subdued, but it might fit this style more.

I like the change!
I can’t wait to see you guys! 9 days!
Here are my thoughts:
I like the lack of color extra colors because it makes the red “pop”.
I think there is too much spacing between lines on the posts which makes it slightly hard to read.
I’m using Firefox and the header, with the black chair in it is not aligned to the rest of the gray top part. Not crazy about the little chair next to the title. Doesn’t seem to flow.
I do like that the top post flows into the rest of the page - the sides slowly disappear.
Patricia,
Good comments. I noticed the BG image as well and it is now fixed. I didn’t notice the text spacing, but now that you have pointed it out, it bugs me. I will look into it.
Thanks you all for commenting. The Lillybeth button is on the way just as soon as we settle on a logo. That might take a while for me and Cathy to agree on (grin).
