Today, I got a forwarded “Questionnaire” from my high school best friend and soulmate, Allison.
I have to say, I love these things. I love reading the forwarder’s answers and I love considering my own answers.
I love getting responses from my friends in return, though I am generally reluctant to pass them on for fear that I am somehow engaging in the dreaded (and illegal) “Chain Letter” or becoming one of those people who forwards stuff on only for the receiver to think, “Why did she send me this?!”
So I thought I’d use my blog as the forum for my answers, and the comment section for yours.
If you have a blog, then you can always answer with your own blog and just put a link in my comment section.
Or, if the list seems long and daunting to you, just pick one or two of the questions and answer them in a comment.

1. WERE YOU NAMED AFTER ANYONE? Yes. My mom’s doctor’s nurse.
2. WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU CRIED? Last night, with my friend Lisa.
3. DO YOU LIKE YOUR HANDWRITING ? Sometimes. I hate the way my handwriting looks on called-in prescriptions. Too forced.
4. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LUNCH MEAT? Corned beef
5. DO YOU HAVE KIDS? Yep.
6. IF YOU WERE ANOTHER PERSON WOULD YOU BE FRIENDS
WITH YOU? Yes, but I think I’d get on my own nerves.
7. DO YOU USE SARCASM A LOT? Not really.
8. DO YOU STILL HAVE YOUR TONSILS? No.
9. WOULD YOU BUNGEE JUMP? No…okay, maybe. But it would have to be the perfect situation. (stars in alignment, no risk of injury, lots of alcoholic beverages (just kidding), etc.)
10. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CEREAL? Crispix. But sometimes I just crave a bowl of Raisin Bran.
11. DO YOU UNTIE YOUR SHOES WHEN YOU TAKE THEM OFF? Yes.
12. DO YOU THINK YOU ARE STRONG? Yes, though that means something completely different to me than it used to.
13. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE ICE CREAM? It’s a toss-up between Blue Bell Dutch Chocolate and Breyer’s Strawberry.
14. WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU NOTICE ABOUT PEOPLE? Eyes, smile.
15. RED OR PINK? RED!
16. WHAT IS THE LEAST FAVORITE THING ABOUT YOURSELF? I’m too demanding.
17. WHO DO YOU MISS THE MOST? My mom. A close second is Jane and Elizabeth while I’m at work.
18. DO YOU WANT EVERYONE TO SEND THIS BACK TO YOU? If I were sending this via email…yes!
19. WHAT COLOR PANTS AND SHOES ARE YOU WEARING? Blue jeans, no shoes. Grey socks.
20. WHAT WAS THE LAST THING YOU ATE? a Moe’s “Naked Joey Bag of Donuts” with chips and salsa, and a glass of chocolate ice cream with milk on it (ice cream, Martin-style.)
21. WHAT ARE YOU LISTENING TO RIGHT NOW? Jane talking to herself and cars driving by on Valley Ave.
22. IF YOU WHERE A CRAYON, WHAT COLOR WOULD YOU BE? Blue.
23. FAVORITE SMELLS? Bacon frying, fresh-brewed coffee, wisteria.
24. WHO WAS THE LAST PERSON YOU TALKED TO ON THE PHONE? The pharmacy manager at the Green Springs Walgreens.
25. DO YOU LIKE THE PERSON WHO SENT THIS TO YOU? Yes. Way more than “like”, though. “Love” is much closer.
26. FAVORITE SPORTS TO WATCH? On TV, tennis. Live, basketball.
27. HAIR COLOR? Dark brown
28. EYE COLOR? Brown
29. DO YOU WEAR CONTACTS? No.
30. FAVORITE FOOD? Red meat…especially, steak on the grill!
31. SCARY MOVIES OR HAPPY ENDINGS? Dramas. But if I have to choose, between the options given…happy endings.

34. SUMMER OR WINTER? Winter, but only if it snows. Otherwise, summer.

36. FAVORITE DESSERT? A dead tie between The Chocolate Cake and Sock-it-to-me Cake (which I had for the very first time in high school, with Allison!)
37. MOST LIKELY TO RESPOND? Amy Hersman, if I were sending
38. LEAST LIKELY TO RESPOND? Julie, except sometimes she just replies to me without forwarding further.
39. WHAT BOOK ARE YOU READING NOW? I gave up reading for Lent. Wait a minute. I don’t celebrate Lent. Oh, and it’s now post-Easter. Actually, I no longer make time to read.
40. WHAT IS ON YOUR MOUSE PAD? We don’t have one.
41. WHAT DID YOU WATCH ON T.V. LAST NIGHT? Aqua Teen (?? It was funny and strange.)
42. FAVORITE SOUND? Jane singing, Elizabeth laughing. Paul playing the guitar.

44. WHAT IS THE FARTHEST YOU HAVE BEEN FROM HOME? I don’t know which is further from AL…Panama (the country, not Florida) or California, or Canada.
45. DO YOU HAVE A SPECIAL TALENT? I do art with cut paper, I play the piano (or at least I used to), and I think I am a good Sunday School teacher.
46. WHERE WERE YOU BORN? Birmingham, AL.
