The Definition of Strong-Willed

Holding your pee from the time you get up (~6:40 a.m.) until 8:45a.m.+ (I’m still waiting), just so you don’t have to use the baby potty, even though you are in pain.

That’s Elizabeth.

And this is my experience potty-training her.

Strong-willed? Yeah, that’s an understatement.

(and just for the record, the last time she peed was yesterday at 7:30p.m.)

  1. sounds like someone can use the big toilet. . .mine just sat on the edge and balanced. . .of course it was the dark ages back then :)
i’m just glad you are still alive! how have you been?
    love you,
    mama bev

  2. Hmm, sounds like you’re having fun!! :) Seriously, I hope it starts to go more smoothly soon and doesn’t become/continue as a battle of the wills.

  3. Ok, so we had a similar situation when I first tried to potty train Natalie. I decided that it wasn’t worth the battle, and plus I didn’t want her to develop a UTI or something. So, we putt he diapers back on her until she decided she was ready. It was great, because she knew what to do, therefore, once she decided she was ready, then she was ALL ready. No accidents at all. So, I just think some kids need to do it when they are ready. Just a thought.

  4. WOW. With that kind of bladder control, maybe she has a future in Operating Room nursing :)
